When We Meet:

Sundays @ 11am

We meet for a time of worship, prayer, and teaching

Wednesdays @ 7pm

We meet for a time of worship, prayer, teaching, and then break into small groups for an in depth discussion time with a group leader and peers

Activities We Do:

Monthly Events

These activities are for fellowship, ministry, fun, and growing in the Lord. Some activities include team sports, concerts, outdoor recreation, evangelism, and service. The cost for these events varies. Youth are always encouraged to bring their unsaved friends to these activities and to the weekly services.

Yearly Events

Our yearly events are winter retreats, summer camps, and summer missions trips. We alternate missions trips with summer camps every other summer. The purpose of these events is to encourage fellowship, grow in our relationship with the Lord, and to reach out to the world around us.

How to Get More Involved:

Discipleship Groups

Being a part of a discipleship group can have a great impact on each student’s growth in the Lord throughout their time in senior high youth group. Those who know Jesus and desire to know Him in a more intimate way are highly encouraged to join a discipleship group. The groups are generally set up by grade level. Each group is led by one of our youth leaders outside of church services. Groups meet various times and places throughout the school year—some continuing through the summer. Each group places an emphasis on in depth Bible study, addressing any personal issues that arise according to what the Bible says about it, prayer, and group accountability. Not every group uses the same curriculum, but each group meets with the intention of pointing the youth to the Lord, regardless of which book or curriculum is used. To join a discipleship group, fill out an information card in the youth room.

Servant Leadership Team

The purpose of this group is to use our God-given gifts and abilities to serve Him and others. These areas include media, helping with the Café, cleaning, event planning, making phone calls, internet team, and others. The servant leadership team meets the first Sunday of each month from 1-2:30pm in the senior high youth room. Meetings consist of a group study on spiritual leadership using Scripture and other materials as well as discussing upcoming needs and events. Everyone is encouraged to be a part of this servant leadership team. If you are interested, simply fill out one of the servant leadership forms (found in the youth room) and drop it in the offering box any time during the year.

Outreach Team

The purpose of our student-led outreach team is to share the Good News of Jesus with our community through evangelism and service and to learn how to practically share our faith with those around us. The outreach team will meet once a month to put together an outreach event for that month. Outreach events will be planned by youth and will always include a youth leader or parent to oversee the event. To join, fill out one of the outreach team forms (found in the youth room) and drop it in the offering box any time throughout the year.

Worship Team

If you play an instrument or sing and would like to use that gift for the Lord, the worship team is the perfect opportunity. There are currently two separate teams that lead worship Sundays and Wednesdays. Both groups meet once a week for practice and a group devotion.
