“But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.” -- John 4:23
The essence of worship is a bowing of our heart and life so as to honor and glorify almighty God, and confess His lordship – regardless of the circumstances. We long to respond to the Father’s call for those who will worship Him in spirit and truth; who will bless Him at all times – not just once or twice a week. Worship is God-centered, not self-centered. We worship not because we feel like it, but because He is worthy. He always has been – He always will be. Because God is the center of our focus, our worship is primarily directed and addressed to Him – not to ourselves or each other.
