If you are reading this, you are probably wanting to find out a little bit more about who I am. Well, probably the best way is to come up to the middle school room sometime so I can meet you, but I'll see if I can write down at least some information here that will provide you with a backdrop to my life.

I grew up here in Olympia and was blessed to be raised in a Christian family. It was in my gradeschool years that we switched churches and started attending Calvary here as our home church. I can't give you a date on when I became aware I was a sinner and needed Jesus to be my Savior and invited Him into my life, but I do know I made a full commitment and surrender to God when I was 12. It was right around that time that God gave me a hunger for His word, something which still exists with me today. When I finished high school, I decided to attend Calvary Chapel Bible College in California where I spent 2 years just getting to know the Lord better. I didn't know what I would end up doing when I finished but God had that already planned out. Between my third and fourth semester, pastor Chuck asked if I would be interested in coming on staff here to work with the younger youth. In June of 2001, I started working here. That was about 5 years ago and I still love middle school kids. It has been a blessing to be a part of their lives in everything from sharing the Word with them to playing ping-pong to going on retreats to shooting finger rockets.

I live over on the east side of Olympia with two other great Christian guys who also attend Calvary.
